Marlow House would welcome applications to join the Board of Trustees
Do you have something to offer as a volunteer Trustee, such as IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance? Previous Trustee experience is not required – just a wish to improve the lives of our clients and our community.
There are generally six meetings per year, including our Annual General Meeting. However, we also encourage interaction within Marlow House as a way of understanding our day care business.
If you would like to discuss the opportunity or apply for an application form, please contact:
Mrs Pamela Goodman, Chair of Trustees on – 07545 783 657 or pamelagoodman16@outlook.com

Weekend volunteering opportunities – Marlow House, Desborough
Are you bored and looking for something to do in your spare time?
Do you enjoy working with vulnerable and elderly people?
Are you looking to get more involved with your local community?
Marlow House is a registered charity and is looking for new Volunteers to get involved!
What does this entail?
• Helping to deliver meals within our local communities of Desborough, Rothwell and surrounding villages
•••Checking our clients are well and safe whilst delivering
these meals.
•••Don't worry if you don't have a licence - you could
always be a drivers assistant.
We estimate this to take 2 hours per shift to heat and deliver the meals we have for our current clients.
Training through induction sessions will be provided by Marlow House and supported by current volunteers and staff every step of the way!
DBS checks will be funded by Marlow House.
If this is something that you feel will suit you and you want to help make a difference then please contact us here at Marlow House on - 01536 762329 or email - sales@marlowhouse.org
Thank You
Volunteering is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, no matter how many or how few hours you can give. Our volunteers make a real difference to the independence and well being of the people they support. Real benefits can also be gained by the volunteers.
Volunteers work alongside our staff, and without them we could not operate. The following are quotes from some of our volunteers:
"I enjoy the company and social aspects of Marlow House"
"I have regained my confidence"
"I get tremendous satisfaction from helping others"
"I am learning new skills all the time"
"It gives me a reason to get up in the morning"
"I like to be able to use skills I have built up over the years"
"It has enhanced my life and lifestyle, I feel a member of society again"
We always need more volunteers…….
Contact the office for more details or pop in for a chat if you think you might be able to help.
